A squirrel has several very sharp teeth including large incisors which are capable of inflicting damage to a human, but a squirrel is not likely to bother a person unless it feels threatened or is rabid. It is also has sharp claws which can cause damage to human skin.

Directly? Indirectly?

Directly, it would be unrealistic for a squirrel to desire to or even be able to kill a human being. I suppose if you could get it to not bite and run and commanded it to gnaw on your neck or throat it'd kill you eventually..

Indirectly, they can carry a large number of diseases, and an animal bite can become the site for a very nasty infection.

Of course, given the right circumstances, I could kill a person with a plastic spoon, so this is pretty relative.
