Yes. They are the same species and the same trees. The difference is the grafted on root system. However, the two varieties must have flowering times that overlap, otherwise they will not pollinate.
yeah
yes
No because one must have sour with sweet
No It's physicly impossible
It depends on the type of apple tree, some are self pollinating and some need other trees pollen in order to pollinate.
The cherry tree (various varieties) produce flowers. The flowers attract flying insects that cross pollinate the trees. Once pollinated, the cherry tree produces a fruit known as a cherry. They do not produce cones!
an apple tree. it didnt take long for George Washington to cut down the cherry tree did it? lol. Yup, but my guess is cherry because more is made from it. Tree roots however - which is less likely to fall is an entirely different story. Apples have less problems.
No he didn't because the story is about George Washington and how he chopped the cherry tree not Abraham Lincoln cutting down an apple tree.
In the spring time So they are ready for summer. It is the same with a cherry tree =)
the apple blossoms on the cherry tree
No. One is a Prunus and the other is a Malus.
They will when mature and planted with a tree that can pollinate it . There are some ornamental varieties that are deliberately kept fruitless.
It depends on what type of fruit the tree grows. For example, an apple tree, a peach tree, or a cherry tree.
