well in my opinion i think they should because if they are 18 and still want to attend another high school that means you still want to keep on doing your work or at least your still trying and putting some effort into your studies don't you think? It would depend primarily on whether the high school you're interested in attending is willing to accept you as a student.

∙ 12y agoDepends on how old you are. If you're 14 entering high school, then you'll probably be 17 or so by your Senior year. However, if you're 15 entering high school, then you'll probably be 18. Given that you havnt stayed back at all....

∙ 11y agoFirst, you are to be commended for wanting to finish high school. You have two ways of doing it: since you are 18, most states will allow you to enroll by yourself (under 18, you usually need parents to enroll you) at a high school. Contact the school's principal and ask him or her about the procedure. Or, if you prefer, you can arrange to take the GED course-- the General Equivalency Diploma. Many people who had dropped out of school choose to complete high school by getting a GED, which will be accepted by trade schools or colleges if you decide to go on after you are finished with your high school work.
