its shell comes off and it grows a new one
sea turtle use there shell to fend off predators
Only if you're a total a$$hole.
All animals walk around naked except us. Humans are the only animal that wears clothes. If you are asking whether a turtle can come out of the shell, then the answer is no. The shell is part of the turtle, and if the shell is peeled off, part of the turtle is ripped off and the animal will die. It would be like pulling off your ribcage.
if u don't have to do the surgery i recommend not doing it because after his shell is taken off he has about 1 year to live if your lucky 3 my turtle had to take off his shell because it was cracked when he was born and after the surgery he lived to be 2
Turtle shells are a part of a turtle's body! A shell is basically made of bones (60 meshed together) and their spine is actually embedded into its shell. Contrary to what they show in cartoons, turtles can't take of their shell any more than you can take off your skin.
Oddly enough, a turtle's shell is actually attached to it's body. It is not like it can take it off and find a new one. A turtle's shell is actually part of it's vertabre. It's like extended bone. Otherwise, it couldn't grow as the turtle does.
sharks take off the shell then eat the meat.
just take it's shell off
Yes it is normal. This is algae growing on its shell. Grab a toothbrush and some warm water [not hot as to NOT burn the turtle] and gently scrub the shell, it should come off eventually.
i think its the same thing as a turtle where the spinal cord is connected to the shell so if you take the shell off in a matter of time it will die.
