Sony Playstation 3 controllers do not work on PC games because they do not work on PCs and PC games do not work in PS3s. You must refer to another designers package information for other PS3 controllers as some technically considered controller devices like headphones do attempt to work on other platforms and the PC
The controller will work and not the games
Yes, the wireless controller works with every ps3 games.
Just buy the amazon PS3 dual shock 3 for $40 in an assortment of colors. A wired controller is not even original equipment for a PS3 and is just some cut rate off brand controller that you want to try to adapt to an old PS2 controller.
The PS3 uses Bluetooth controllers and both the PS3 Move Controllers and the Dualshock 3 Controllers are Bluetooth. If you buy a wired controller it will not really be PS3 but any PS3 controller works on any PS3 even if it is not original PS3 equipment
@Dotpleasant no they don't work for some reason do don't fcking try
plug it into the usb port
If it's a wireless controller you should be able to use it on a ps3, as you plug a USB thing into both. If it's a wired controller, no you cant use it.
PS2 do not play PS3 games and if your PS2 controller is being used on a PS3 then you are not using normal PS3 equipment. Sony support and my sources do not have information on using some unknown controller that might be able to work on a PS3 read your manual that came with the controller. Better yet buy the better Dual Shock 3 PS3 controller
No, there are no PS3 -> PC emulators right now, however you can connect a PS3 controller to your PC.
Not without the Move controller and PlayStation eye camera that are needed for the PS3 to be able to play the PlayStation Move exclusive games
If you have a wired xbox 360 or ps3 controller (or just about any controller with a USB), there is software that will allow you to use it with PC games.
It fits the dual shock 3
