While Hunter pets from the Tenacity family with the correct talents in the hands of a Beastmaster can be very tough, and can off-tank in certain Heroic mode encounters, they are still less survivable and have a lot less options for aggro management or control than a player tank class.
This is also the reason why "tank" is not an option for a Hunter to select when using the random dungeon finder.
The pet is however excellent for tanking Quest Elites or older content, where it takes a lot less damage due to its higher level. And it is also good to have such a pet in case you feel you could save a group from a wipe by having the pet tank one or more mobs.
The unit that has the tank hunter rule has +1 to vehicle armour penetration and is immune to the tank shock rule.
tank
Yes. Neither is better .. they're just different in playing style. The hunter doe one thing really well: pump out DPS. A druid can play any of 3 roles: Tank, Healer, and DPS. If you are inexperienced in WoW, go with a hunter first to learn the mechanics of the game. then the druid.
wow...
the T10 class gear
It all depends on what type of play style you like. If you like standing away and throwing or shooting things, then go for mage or hunter. Hunter is probably a little easier, since your pet can tank for you. For melee dps, try warrior. For tanking, again, warrior or paladin.
halo hunter maybe
You can get vanity non-combat pets but none that are useful while fighting.
If its a mount, you dont need to feed it. If it is a hunter pet, it will eat fruit.
ME!!! im a tankadin called jnava look me up in bladesedge
I was told you could do the same thing on Monster Hunter but I have never actually played the game so I'm not real sure.
For leveling, go with Beastmastery talents. This makes your pet stronger (you too) so it can either tank or do more damage. Get a tanking pet and you can usually take things down that are 4 levels higher than you without too much trouble.
