No, this is very unlikely. AIDS is generally passed during the exchange of bodily fluids, whether during sexual relations or during the exchange of infected needles during drug abuse. When the virus comes in contact with the air, it cannot survive. Thus, hugging a person who is HIV positive or shaking such a person's hand would not give you the virus. It should be noted that a person with open cuts and sores might be infected if the virus got into the person's body that way, but the incidence of such transmission is very low.
