Aids doesn't cause pneumonia. You can die from pneumonia with or without aids. However if you have aids you are more likely to die from pneumonia then if you didn't have aids and contracted pneumonia
--> Yes. Life can be prolonged today with medicines though. There is no cure yet.
I applaud the acknowledgment that AIDS is a very dangerous disease, but it is important to understand the facts about it. Many people have never been through the experience and it is a misleading answer, not because AIDS is not dangerous, but because of what it actually does.
AIDS never killed a single person. BUT... it did lead to the deaths of many, many people. Contracting AIDS is the equivalent of lowering all of your defenses while going into battle. This is an important distinction because it often skews the importance placed upon a possible immunization against AIDS/HIV, a cure for AIDS, combatting the symptoms of AIDS, or fighting the ensuing "enemy" (disease) that uses full-blown AIDS to kill a person.
For example, curing AIDS would be great, BUT if we could come up with a medication that merely combats the symptoms of AIDS, that would effectively save every life from being compromised by AIDS, similar to Diabetes patients and others that take "maintenance medication" for the remainder of their lives. This is not necessarily true of other diseases.
Keep on fighting, but don't just wear the AIDS ribbon -- educate.
A high chance and yes.
Yes, they do die. I wish we could find a cure.
You will if you do not get any treatments done. but i don't know in how long.

It is, at this time completely impossible to live through AIDS. Their are medications that slow it down, but none that completely cure the disease.
There are combinations of medications that must be taken every day to reduce the viral load, and it seems to be lengthening life more and more for victims of AIDS.
It takes at least a year for HIV/AIDS to kick in for it to start happening
