Many different cells can live on their own and in many different ways. Unicellular algae and phytoplankton are single celled autotrophs (make their own food) that are photosynthetic. Yeast, used in baking and brewing, is a fungus that eats sugars and produces CO2 (causes bread to rise) and alcohol. There is also a whole kingdom called Protista that is mostly unicellular, which includes amoebas, parameciums, euglenas and many more with widely varying methods of survival. Some can be plant-like (euglena), animal-like (paramecium and amoebas), and fungus-like (slime molds). There are even protists that eat other protists! There are many possibilities!
a single cell ! ! ! ! but it just depends because if the question is: are single celled organisms able to live on there own with just one cell? the answer would be yes because of the word " single-celled organisms". and how? because of all the amoeba in the ocean and that is what the single cell can live off of for a while. but you know that cells die! so we really don't know how long the single cell will live on just only amoeba that is in the ocean...........
Yes, but it has to have the proper nutrients. It is a living thing
yes because of all the amoeba in the ocean. The single celled organism is the simplest out their.
No they can't, they need to be in living things in order for them to live
A Microorganism
no it can not
yes it can
yes because of all the amoeba in the ocean. The single celled organism is the simplest out their.
the difference between an elodea cell & an paramecium cells, are that elodea cells can't survive on it's own because it is not a single celled organism and it has to work together with other elodea cells to survive. While paramecium cell on the other hand are single celled organisms and have everything that they need to live on their own
Elodea Is a multicellular celled organism, paramecium is a single organism Another thing is that Elodea (being multicellular) can not survive on its own while on the other hand paramecium can
That's an "organism".
Single cell suspension is a liquid suspension of tissue broken down into single cells.
no
they can make their own food and adapt to their environment
yes because of all the amoeba in the ocean. The single celled organism is the simplest out their.
If a single cell is living on its own it is called a single-celled organism. There are millions of single-celled organisms alive today.
paramecium cells can not survive on its own because it works as a group while on the other hand, the Elodea cells can live on their own because they are single cells.
Amoeba
No it can not.
Yes, yeast is a single cell fungus.
yes
A single cell
Organism.
No, we are a unique single-celled organism. We have our own special kind of cell: a humanoid cell. This is what separates us from the monkeys.
