No. While most matter on Earth is in one of those three states, not all of it is. A gas that ionized (electrons have broken free of atoms or molecules) enters a fourth state of matter called plasma. Plasma can be found in electrical arcs such as lightning and where substances are heated to extreme temperatures. The sun is plasma.

At high temperatures and pressures some substances that are normally liquids or gasses can become supercritical fluids, a state that is intermediate between liquid and gas.

At temperatures near absolute zero some materials can from a Bose-Einstein condensate, in which atoms stop acting as individual particles and start acting as a uniform wave.

The cores of many dead stars form white dwarfs, which are are composed of electron-degenerate matter, a state thousands of times denser than anything found on Earth.

The cores of massive stars may form neutron stars, which are composed of neutron-degenerate matter, which is millions of times denser than electron-degenerate matter.

Answer: Matter is classified into 3 states. They are solid, liquid, gas. Matter can be also classified into materials. This are the 5 main groups of materials. They are the metals, plastics, glass, ceramic and fibre.

What are all the stages of matter?

liquid, gas, solid, and plasma

Is a solid liquid or gas matter?

solid and liquid because gas doesn't take up space it just floats away

Which form of matter can take all states of matter?

Any gas, liquid or solid can exist in all states of matter.

What are three forms of matter (liquid solid and gas)?

As we all know d 3 forms of matter,Solid Liquid and Gas,the difference between these 3 is the distance between the molecules of matter, the order of dist between these states is as below solid<liquid<gas.

What are the three states of matter List the propeties, examples of them and some other things ( fun facts e.g.)?

SOLID LIQUID AND GAS These are the three state matter. All the materials we see in our daily lives (from ice-cream to chairs to water) are made up of matter. Matter can be classified into different states such as solid, liquid and gas on the basis of intermolecular forces and the arrangement of particles. These three forms of matter can be converted from one state of matter to another state by changing certain environmental factors (increasing or decreasing pressure and temperature, for instance). For example, Ice can be converted from a solid into liquid water by increasing the temperature.
