Yes.
The SR-71 Blackbird is 2,193 miles per hour fast or Mach 3, three times faster than the speed of sound.
x 15 is faster then the sr71 blackbird who can only reach a speed of mach 3.2 which is 3 times the speed of sound but the x 15 can reach mach 6.72
SR71 Blackbird Model M-21: maximum speed: 2211miles/h Generally, the given answer for all models of the SR71 is: "In excess of Mach 3", or more than three times the speed of sound. see related links below for more info
The SR-71 blackbird has wings with an airfoil just like any other aircraft. It just flies much much faster than most.
SR-71 Blackbird. This airplane is used in the army. They are made out of titanium and titanium is the second strongest substance on earth(strongest is diamond). They are made like that because they can fly faster than a missile so they risk getting hit and can fly 85,000 ft (16 miles) up. Only a space ship can fly higher than that. They are very fast to. They can fly 33 miles in one minute. They can get up to over 1,000 mph. That is some of what I know about this plane.
The SR-71 Blackbird is one aircraft that flew faster than Mach 3. It has flown as fast as 2,193 miles per hour and perhaps much faster.
The question is not defined to be answered properly A Cessna propeller driven light aircraft is much slower than a 747 But a SR71, the current record holder for speed is also much smaller than a 747
I suspect you refer to the Blackbird, as in the drag racing car owned by Jack Beckman and not the military airplane also named the Blackbird. The top speed of the Veyron is at an incredible 434.20 Km/h (269.80 mph) and is therefor the worlds fastest street legal production car, but the Blackbird is not a production car and has a top speed of 536.97 Km/h (333.66 mph) and is therefor faster than the Veyron. And if you were in fact wondering about the plane the top speed is not exact, but it's declassified that it can reach 3.4+ Mach (3610.80 Km/h or 2244 mph).
They don't go anywhere, they are no longer in use by the Air Force. What a goofy answer... An SR 71 Blackbird can travel over Mach 3 (3 times the speed of sound). Mach speed varies a bit by air density but it is roughly 742mph. This means that at Mach 3 the Blackbird is traveling at about 2225mph. This is literally faster than some bullet speeds (30.06 for example), and is faster than the earth's rotation (you could leave New York and fly to Hawaii and get there earlier than you left New York).
A supersonic jet, such as the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, is faster than a speeding bullet. These jets can travel at speeds exceeding Mach 3, which is over three times the speed of sound.
The SR-71 Blackbird is 2,193 miles per hour fast or Mach 3, three times faster than the speed of sound.
Yes they did, also alot more than aircraft technology as well, the german's had schematics for stealth, rocket and intercontinental missiles, they also had plans for a "flying saucer" which was built and tested, however, most of this technology was destroyed but the americans stole the plans and even bought in german scientists to work at groom lake nevada where the german's developed the V2, later developments were the F117 nighthawk and SR71 blackbird and the apollo space program, this all spawned from german advancements in missile, aircraft and weapon technology.
