What degrees would you need to be a drug counselor and work at a rehab?
Yes it is legal but could be against some unions rules. In most cases there is no problem.
Don't look for certified alcohol or drug counselor. But you can find them in the rehabs centers. They are certified by the Government or the authority concerned. If you have a real problem of addiction, find someone who has stopped drinking or abusing drugs for more than 20-25 years. They are the best counselors who can help you out.
