First, extract all of the songs from your CD through your computer and put all of the songs on the CD into iTunes (only mp3 and mp4 files are accepted to play a song on the iPod Touch). After making sure the songs are the correct format, plug in your iPod, then iTunes should recognize it, and then just drag the songs to your iPod symbol in iTunes.

∙ 11y agoYou cannot connect an external CD player directly. If you wish to play CD songs, use your computer to rip the CD songs into iTunes, and then sync your iPad. You can also use this method to import songs for use in programs like Garageband.
