Yes, you can use your iPhone on a prepaid network.
However, your iPhone must be unlocked first...in which case you will either need to be out of a contract or be ready to pay your current provider's cancellation fees.
Once that has occurred, you can take your phone to a prepaid network.

∙ 12y agoNO ! Apple requires users to have a two year contract with AT&T. Not sure if you can unlock and use it on TMobile pay as you go but with AT&T, you can not !

∙ 11y agoYes, you can. Fortunately, you can have the nicest phone on the market (in my opinion) at prepaid prices.
With Straight Talk, the provider I use, you can buy one of their SIM cards and then pay roughly 45 dollars per month for service. One little known fact about them is that they essentially "rent" their towers from AT&T, T-Mobile and others...so you get the same service as all of your friends. (who pay more) It's a win, win situation.
