It depends on what started the fire and if the electrical equipment was damaged. Chances are if the food burned and didn't burn the oven you should be able to use it after you clean it really well. If the oven itself was on fire I wouldn't use it.
smother it or use a foam fire extinguisher
a fire extinguisher
First turn off the oven. If the fire is because of grease spewing, then cover it up with a pan to smother it. If it won't go out then fires should be doused with baking soda or a fire extinguisher - but not water on grease or electrical fires.
Ideally, within easy reach, but not too near a large heat source, like a gas hob or oven. If in doubt, check the fire extinguisher's documentation.
Get you a can of engine degreaser from any auto parts store or even walmart in the automotive dept... this works really good just spray the stuff on and let it set for a couple mins and just spray off with a garden hose...
fire extinguisher
well try and cook somthing in it and if it tasts funny or dosent cook well replace it
No! Any type of oil will spread the fire! If there is oil involved at all water will spread the fire as well! If there is no fire extinguisher in kitchen some things that will put out fire: - if the fire is in a pot and you have a lid put it on the pot, this eliminates air and will put the fire out - if that is not an option use flour or salt this won't burn and will smother the fire - remember to turn off the stove until things are under control - if the fire is in the oven shut the oven, if you don't have a fire extinguisher, salt or flour just leave it closed, once the air is consumed it will burn itself out.
You can use a gas oven to cure a powder coated part.
Fire extinguisher
Drag your player to the oven. Then to the workroom. He/ she should take out the tools to fix the oven fire. If not I don't know. This works only with an adult player. This worked for me. Hope I helped!
Click on the fire and select the "Extinguish Fire" option. If the fire does not go out, have your Sim call the fire department, but continue to use the extinguisher to contain the fire until a firefighter arrives.
