Everyone who can talk can talk to cows. Just don't expect the cows to understand or talk back. People who try have conversations with cows are usually on a psychedelic drug, but others are just crazy.

Insects communicate almost entirely through their sense of smell, and the chemicals that they emit, which other insects can detect (chemicals which are used to communicate in this manner are called pheromones). Many species of animals use meaningful sounds to communicate, even though those sounds are not words in the human sense. Sounds can convey basic ideas such as, I am available for mating; or look out, there is something dangerous here; or go away, you are invading my territory. Some species communicate quite well with people, as pet owners know.
