Yes. If you are a part of the "priesthood of believers" it is legitimate. Might want to get a pastor to do it though, just to be on the safe side. A Baptism is symbolic and doesn't earn rights or win points, and is not legal or illegal. It is a public profession of Faith. It cannot be done correctly or incorrectly, right or wrong. It is for the recipient. It should be taken with reverence, respectfully and seriously.
