Yes. If you have a Pokemon like Venasaur, teach it solarbeam. in a double battle, also have a fire type like charizard. Teach the charizard sunny day. In the double battle, use sunny day, and your Venasaur can use solarbeam without charging until your sunny day wears off!!!

You should make the Dragonite a Salamence instead, cuz salamence has higher stats (plus, it looks cooler!).
