Well, there is a company somewhere in the world (not quite sure where) that uses brain waves to move around a motorized wheelchair by thinking of doing something with your right hand to orientate the wheelchair right and think of doing something with their left hand to orientate the wheelchair left!
Moving an object with your mind, also known as telekinesis, is considered to be pseudoscience and not proven to be possible. Therefore, there is no specific time frame associated with moving an object with your mind as it is not a recognized ability in the scientific community.
As of current understanding and technology, it is not possible to move objects with your mind alone. Such abilities are only seen in works of fiction or as illusions created through tricks. In reality, physical contact or tools are needed to move objects.
Object's can move in different ways. Some one can push a object to move it. They can Pick it up and move the object.Machinery can move objects also. And wind can move object's if it is blowing hard enough.
The process is called telekinesis. It hasn't been a proven phenomenon, but legends and myths about it have been around for centuries.

No your mind is not a physical feature. It is an inanimate object.
In order to do work on an object, the object must move in the direction of the force applied. If the object does not move, no work is being done on the object.
No, work is defined as the force applied to an object multiplied by the distance the object moves in the direction of the force. If the object does not move, then work is not done on the object.
When a force makes an object move, work is done.
