pink floyd as a band and hendrix as a solo artist
David Gilmour is best known for playing guitar, singing and writing lyrics for the band Pink Floyd. He is also well known for his solo work while he was still with Pink Floyd up until the present time.
the beatles, pink floyd, syd barrett solo, the greatful dead, timezone, the wankers, beyond the floor
No, but the solo works of Roger Waters, 'The Pros & Cons of Hitchhiking', 'Radio KAOS', and 'Amused to Death' each have at least one instance of thunder on the albums.
NO...it was one of two solo albums by former original vocalist Syd Barrett. Who by the way was the person who recceommended his own replacement, David Gilmore.
a Soliloquy Its when a actor talks to him/herself during a play or is unaware that anyone is listening.
I would say... (bands and solo btw) The Beatles Elvis Presley Pink Floyd Queen Led Zeppelin But to be honest picking from 5 is very hard
Not LikelyI thought they would when The Division Bell came out, and as the years went by I just reminded myself that they were over 50, taking longer to make another album every time, and had nothing to prove. And in '03 I had more hope when keyboardist Richard Wright said in a Guitar World feature on Dark Side of the Moon's 30th anniversary that it's been nine years and he (?-!) was wondering when Pink Floyd would do another. That should have told me something right there, but it wasn't until David Gilmour's last solo album came out and he said something that I finally got it. What he said was pretty concrete about no more Pink Floyd.
David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason shared a stage together as Pink Floyd at Live 8 London on July 2, 2005 for a 'one-off peformance',the first time since 1994. Roger Waters joined the band as a 'guest' to perform live with Pink Floyd for the first time since 1980. The act was introduced to TV audiences as Pink Floyd. The attending audience was not formally introduced to the band, the only time this occurred at any of the Live 8 concerts. Since then, Waters, Wright and Mason have publicly expressed interest in at least one performance as Pink Floyd; however, Gilmour described this as "an experience I would not enjoy doing more of". Richard Wright passed away from cancer on September 15, 2008. Taking into account Ricks passing and Gilmours reluctance to play as Pink Floyd, a true reunion is unlikely. However, Roger Waters has announced a tour of 'The Wall' beginning in 2010. A surprise appearance by Gilmour is not completely out of the question, but it's highly doubtful. Drummer Nick Mason has joined Waters on his solo tours many times in the past. Short Answer: Probably not, but it's not impossible.
sadly, the only way to play a game solo is to look at the game and see if it says 'play solo' to the right of the play button
yes
Original Pink Floyd (Mk I) line up Syd Barrett guitar/vocals, Rick Wright keyboards/vocals, Roger Waters Bass/Vocals Nick Mason Drums.
