A good travel laptop that has a long battery life is a Toshiba. I have one and the battery life on it is about 4 hours after a full charge on the battery.
I recommend a Dell laptop. I would say either a vostro or a inspiron. I would recommend inspiron though not too expensive, speedy, looks good, and has good speifications and is also a home laptop. You can also get it with Windows 7 on it too.
A laptop is great for traveling and very convenient. I really like the lenovo line of laptop. I personally would get a lenovo X301. It's lightweight and powerful making it the ideal travel laptop.
Yes, it is a good laptop. I recommend HP as in I never had any trouble with HP. On the other hand, I bought a compaq >.> wish I didn't...And its the worst laptop I ever had!
Yes! I loved it, and I recommend this to anyone! And I mean, ANYONE!

use google
The Strokes. I don't even need to recommend any more.
This laptop is very bulky. It comes in at a weight over seven pounds. There are much better laptops are the low end of the price range that are better suited for travel.
