Can auto dimming outside driver mirror stuck in night more be repaired or need to be replaced on a 2000 Lesabre Interior review and passenger work fine so it is not the sensor thanks?

the mirror turns a greenish yellow because of the chemical used to make it auto dimming. The mirror glass needs to be replaced. A GM part item.

The PCM (or ECM) is located on the interior of the car on the passenger side. To access the PCM/ECM remove the kick panel just beneath the glove box and it is right there. Disconnect the three electrical harnesses and and sucuritity clip and it's out.
