they eat bugsbut they might try it. my science teacher had bearded dragons and he feed them lettuce but they did not allways go for it. I have a leopard gecko and he some times eats it just cut it up first
Baby food is formulated specifically for BABIES. Not for bearded dragons. So NO, don't feed him/her it, it may harm them.
No, no matter how old the leopard gecko is it should not eat baby food. They were not made to eat fruits or vegetable's.
crickets work fine
Yes, you can feed crickets that have eaten food on the same day that you feed them to the bearded dragon. It helps the dragon to get more food. It's called gut loading, because you are loading the crickets' guts with extra food that the dragon can use. There is a substance that you can sprinkle onto the crickets before you feed them to the dragon. You can check with your pet store for that.
No but it could carry parasites and kill your dragon. *You should NEVER feed your bearded dragon any wild food no matter how tempting it is.
It depends how big your Beardie is - and what size food you're wanting to offer him/her. You should only ever feed insects that are smaller than the distance between the Beardie's eyes.
no way!! it is bad for ur baby? havent u ever heard of baby food (apple sause, and peas?!) i would never take that risk beside they sound gross! would u even eat them?Edit: do NOT feed baby food to a Bearded dragon ! It is highly processed food for human consumption and is not part of its natural diet ! It's the equivalent of a human eating ten 'big macs' three times a day every day ! I am sick of the (apparently large) number of people on here that feed reptiles on food they would never eat in their natural habitat !
It depends how much you're feeding him ! If he's hungry enough he WILL chase his own food, but if you continually hand feed him he will avoid chasing his own dinner. After all - what's the point of expending energy running after food when you get it offered at the end of tweezers ! bearded dragons rely on there parents to feed them at a young age but if your feeding him with tweezers then he will 80% rely on you
You sure can try. Unfortunately they are mostly going to eat live food. Crickets, mealworms, etc. When they get older, they will also eat fruits and vegetables. They don't usually eat prepared food.
Do you feed it by dropping food into the cage? If so, attacking your hand may simply be a conditioned response.
If you are asking that because you want to feed your beardie the minimal amount, I tell you that you do not need to know the answer. Feed your beardie fruit, veggies, and live animals such as worms or crickets every day. Youngsters need 80 percent of their diet to be animals.
Go to lady celestia and buy it food, then feed it, then train its stats
No it does not eat its food in a different way.
Yes, a bearded dragon will change color depending on food, temperature, anger and sexual activity. When a Dragon is black it is upset. The best is a bright color, that means contempt and a happy Bearded Dragon.
