It is a good idea to breed two does at the same time in case the mother of one litter dies or rejects her babies. A baby rabbit can suckle from any healthy mother rabbit. However, it can be difficult to get the substitute mama to accept the babies as her own. Try rubbing vanilla extract on the fur of both litters and the mama's nostrils. All mama rabbit will smell is the vanilla, and she will think all the babies are hers. Watch them closely to make sure all the babies are being suckled, kept warm ,and taken care of. This will onyl work if both litters are small. Mama rabbit might get overwhelmed if she has to suckle more than six babies. If the litters are too large or the mama doesn't accept the other litter, you can hand feed them kitten formula using a dropper. By the way, it's spelled "suckle", not "sukkle".
im hayli and my rabbit had four baby rabbits it is ok when the doe is not by her kits soo dont worry.
If you have already taken in wild baby rabbits, chances are very high that their mother will not take them back. Mother rabbits will abandon their young if the baby bunnies, smell of human rather than rabbit. Baby rabbits can be fed warm cream using miniature baby bottles, if need be. Place the baby rabbit on its back, as this is the way it would be suckling from its mother, and place the nipple of the bottle in front of its mouth. Please note: It is best to leave wild life of any kind alone, the best thing to do for the safety of animals taken in from the wild, is to call animal services.
Since a rabbit's gestation period is only ~30 days long, a rabbit certainly can give birth more than twice a year.
Is the mother a wild rabbit and you just found the baby rabbits? If so, leave them where they are. If the mother is Domestic and inside, as long as the room they are kept in is warm they should be fine. If they are outside in a hutch, a nesting box would be advised.
No, you can't put baby oil on a rabbit. Anything you put on a rabbit will end up inside the rabbit because rabbits clean themselves by licking themselves. Baby oil is not safe for a rabbit to ingest and can make the rabbit sick. There is no good reason to put baby oil or any kind of oil on a rabbit. If your rabbit is sick, you should bring it to a vet who has experience and knowledge in treating rabbits.

no, but the male rabbit will impregnate the female baby offspring when they mature. so young rabbits will not kill the baby rabbit.
No because it will attack the mother and might even attack them.
The doe, also known as the mother rabbit, would look after the bunnies.
baby rabbits are called kits
You probably touched the kits when the mother rabbit was looking. That's when she will kill her young. First remove the baby rabbits, then bring it to the vet. The vet will examine them to make sure that they have any wounds, cuts, or bruises. The vet will give the baby rabbits some medicine and milk.
