What indicates a change in weather?

A barometer.

What does rapid changes in the barometer mean?

a barometer calculates changes in air pressure. so if it has a rapid change, im guessing it has just been a "rapid" change in air pressure

What was used before the Barometer?

it tells us the change in the temprature.

What weather tool can tell if the weather is about change?

a tool is a barometer

Basic difference bet ac and dc?

If you measure the Instantaneous Volyage using a Voltmeter the1. DC the Voltmeter reading will remain constant it will not change.2. AC the voltage will vary from positive to negative . The variation can be sine wavw, Square wave, triangular wave or any other type.

What can a barometers be used for?

A barometer measures barometric pressure, that is, atmospheric pressure. Because air flows from high pressure areas to low pressure areas, rising or falling barometric pressure tells us that we should expect a change in the weather. For example, a storm is often preceded by a drop in barometric pressure. A barometer is an indispensable tool for a meteorologist, a captain of a ship, or anyone else who needs to predict the weather.

What is the barometer used for and how does it work?

A barometer is an instrument used to measure atmospheric pressure. It can measure the pressure exerted by the atmosphere by using water, air, or mercury. Pressure tendency can forecast short term changes in the weather. Numerous measurements of air pressure are used within surface weather analysis to help find surface troughs, high pressure systems, and frontal boundaries.

What tool shows weather change?

Doppler Radar, Thermometer, Barometer

What is environmental change?

Environmental change is when the environment goes under changes such as climate which animals have to adapt to.

Why the series resistor of the voltmeter is high?

Aim of any measuring instrument is to measure the object without affecting it. Voltmeter is used to measure voltage between two points and connected in parallel. Thus voltmeter should not change the voltage. If voltmeter resistance is very high, it will be as good as infinity compared to load. Thus connecting voltmeter will not change the voltage and measure it accurately.

Why is barometer useful?

Because it has a high density... meaning that the volume increase or decrease due to altitude change is can be viewed in a practical sized barometer. If water, which had a much lower density, was used instead of Mercury, the barometer must be at least 15m high.

How does a barometer instrumental in predicting storms?

It can detect air pressure, which will change when nearing a storm.
