1. Alpha Particles are the least penetrating, but do a great deal of radiation damage on the surface of what they hit.2. Beta Particles penetrate to a certain extent depending on their energy.3. Gamma Rays penetrate the most, and a Gamma source requires heavy (lead, etc.) shielding.

That would be evaporation; the particles inside the liquid escape from the surface and into the atmosphere/air.

the particles in a surface water move back- and- forth only.
Charged particles from the Sun will not reach the surface of the Earth because they are mostly deflected around it by the Earth's magnetic field (the magnetosphere), but where the particles are deflected towards the surface near the Earth's magnetic poles, they interact with the gas high in the atmosphere to form the Auroras and do not penetrate through to the surface.

No. Alpha particles, consisting of 2 protons and 2 neutrons - effectively a Helium nucleus - are very heavy (for a decay particle) and readily ionize surface materials. For this reason, they have very low penetration.Alpha particles are not the most penetrating, instead it is the Gamma rays that penetrate better.

Surface tension-Attractive forces cause particles on the surface of a liquid to pull together and resist from being pushed apart. These particles on the surface are pulled toward the center of the liquid and and sideways along the surface. There are no liquid particles above to pull on them. Particles under the surface are pulled in all different directions. Surface tension is the uneven forces acting on the surface particles of a liquid. Surface tension causes a liquid to act like it has a thin film stretched across the surface.
