Yes
It can be blended with regular diesel fuel in any ratio. It has about the same amount of energy as petroleum diesel fuel. Its use reduces the amount of required oil changes. the only down fall is its not available at most major truck stops.
Rotella is designed specifically for Diesels, you can find it at any Walmart with an Auto Center. I would not put just any 15 W 40 in a diesel there are special additives in diesel oil that are not present in regular motor oil.
diesel cars accelerate faster because a diesel engine produces over twice the torque of a gasoline engine. and the only way to make it go any faster would be to change the rearend ratio or get it tuned by a professional.

There are certain additives that won't be in regular oil. It may take a while for any effects to show, so it is best just to get a diesel oil. Its available at many retail chains, Autozone, O'Riellys, Advance Auto, WalMart, Pep Boys. etc
The dye in diesel will not damage any diesel engine, however it may damage your bank account, in the UK 'red' diesel has a reduced duty (tax) and is strictly for use off road by farmers, construction workers etc. It is an offence to use red dyed diesel on public roads and you may get a heavy fine from the law courts.
A vehical that runs on petrol and diesel is impossible as they are both ignited in different ways. For exaple petrol is ignited by the spark plugs and a diesel is ignited by the shear force of the compression from the pistons. A petrol engine has a round 9:1 compression ratio and a diesel has about 20:1 but these veary from engine to engine I hope that hasn't lost you
in general gasoline will affect on any diesel component that combine rubber seals ,rubber '0" rings ,and if engine its capable of running will damaged pistons connecting rods by bending them / if you come to this mistake do not crank or start the engine ,towed to your mechanic and have him flush the entire system.
ionic compound
Diesel vehicles offer a wide range of driving options. There are multiple sites on the interweb that are car based that should be able to compare and contrast vehicles for you. Diesel fuel used to be a lot cheaper than regular gas, but anymore it is actually more expensive.
The same as any other diesel
