Budgies mostly eat bird seed, they can also eat long strips of grass and greens such as brocily, frozen peas and spinage.Give these to your budgies and they'll love them!
Mostly smaller birds eat "bird seed" such as budgies and other small parakeets.
you can get budgies...
Budgies won't eat as much fruits as they will veggies, due to their desert origins. We've been keeping budgies for a little over 8 years, and what we've found out is they love: Sweet potatoe (peeled, raw), zuchinni, spinich, celery (especially the tops), carrots, and lettuce. I've only had a couple of parakeets that liked apple; I guess they don't like sweets as much as we do.
I have 6 budgies, they don't eat fruits at all. they eat seeds, coriander leaves and banana leaves are their favorites ! The country where i live, i get only one kind of bird seed.
