Depends on the bird, the dog and you. Amazons are a bit more twitchy than some birds, but they all have their own personalities. I have 12 cats, 7 birds, one of which is an Amazon, had a dog and everyone gets along for the most part. Cats fuss with each other, but no one bothers the birds.
