∙ 17y agoSure, plenty of people say that what used to be called Home Ec is for girls. Grampa Martin and Grampa Billy-Bob both still say it to my boys. Fortunately, people who live in the 21st century with the rest of us both say that it's just as reasonable for boys to take home ec, errr, home science as any other subject. Truth be told, because it has been subject to some ridicule over the years, I'd wager that the course itself has been toughened up to the point that it is less about the ability to bake a cake than it is about the physics that produces the electricity to cook one.

It depends what state and what subject.
To become a meteorologist, you will typically need to earn at least a bachelor's degree in atmospheric science or a related field. Maintaining a strong grade average, especially in math and science courses, is important for admission to a reputable program and for securing competitive job opportunities in the field. Additionally, pursuing internships and gaining practical experience through research or forecasting projects can enhance your qualifications as a meteorologist.
