Carrying Capacity
Carrying it is what my sci teacher gave me as hw. I am a Straight A Student so its right :)
The carrying capacity of a biological species in an environment is the maximum population size of the species that the environment can sustain indefinitely, given the food, habitat, water and other necessities available in the environment. In population biology, carrying capacity is defined as the environment's maximal load,[1]which is different from the concept of population equilibrium.
You need to ask a purposeful question. What is a tropical savanna? What are you referring to? Define your terms. Carrying capacity indicates something you can take with you like the carrying capacity of a backpack or a pick-up truck. A savanna indicates a large open expanse of land.
If the population exceeds the carrying capacity, unless the carrying capacity is only teoretical and thus in practice proven wrong, the ecosystem will slowly diminish. There won't be enough lifeforms to support the populus and all life forms will die.
it relateds because over time carrying capacity is changes
Carrying capacity
Carrying Capacity!! :D (apex)
Carrying capacity
Carrying capacity is population that is supported by its supporting systems. An example of carrying capacity is wildlife living in the forest. Since the forest can only hold so many different species of wildlife, it has a particular carrying capacity.
Carrying Capacity
The largest population a particular environment can support of particular species is called its carrying capacity.
Carrying capacity
The carrying capacity of Antelope Island bison is not known at this time. There is an attempt to get the antelopes closer to their historical range.
Carrying Capacity
the difference between limiting factor and carrying capacity is the fact that carrying capacity is the population a ecosystem can support over TIME and limiting factor just makes the population stop growing and wont let any more people/animals/ect.. in if the place is packed
The food supply and carrying capacity are directly related. If the food supply is decreased for some reason the carryong capacity will aslo be decreased over time. the less food that is available, the less amount of people will be able to survive and vice versa.
