yes it is as it may get infected and then will spread and that means its an illness go to the doctors and get it checked out.it is a form of mouth disorder

Mouth ulcers can be caused by many things. Stress, lots of citrus fruit, medications, bad immune system. Best to go to an oral surgeon for a correct diagnosis. Regular doctors don't have enough training in this area. I Reccomend If The Ulcer Is Painful pull pack your lip so you can see it in the mirror and make sure the mirror is cold and then place your mouth and ulcer on to the mirror and keep it there a few seconds then spit a couple of times and it should numb the pain for a few minutes i tried it and it works.
