Han server is ok (hong kong)
Because it was formerly part of the British Empire. The British, being capitalists, promoted free trade, etc. and Hong Kong became quite successful & wealthy under the "free trade system." This being the case, when becoming independent, they desired to retain that form of government.
It joined it in July 1997, after the lease of the island of Hong Kong and the surrounding HK area ran out, following the 1984 treaty which the UK government agreed with Communist China to lease the islands back. There was a lavish ceremony and handover procession, and as part of the agreement Hong Kong kept control of most of its law, including capitalist economic system, until 2047. However today China continues to try and destroy civil rights in Hong Kong. I for one, as a British person, very much miss HK. And the people of HK, they say, miss Britain.
The Battle of Hong Kong took place from December 8, 1941 to Christmas day of the same year. The incident was located on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.Hong Kong, then a British Crown Colony, was invaded by Imperial Japan. The British accepted help from the Canadian government, which sent troops to bolster British presence. The Japanese attacked with horrible brutality, even by that day's standards. It was reported that the Japanese soldiers attacked and pillaged British field hospitals, killing and torturing wounded soldiers and medical staff, an action that was considered immoral at the time and is forbidden by United Nations in wars today.Knowing furthur resistance was futile, the British and Canadian forces formally surrendered on December 25, a day known as "Black Christmas" in Hong Kong. This began the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong. The Japanese terrorised the public, murdering and pillaging, for three years and eight months until British forces liberated Hong Kong in 1945 and resumed control of it as a colony.Japanese General Takashi Sakai, who led the invasion of Hong Kong and subsequently governed it for a time, was tried as a war criminal and executed on September 30, 1946 in Nanking, China with an audience consisting mostly of Hong Kongers. It was said that the Hong Kong viewers cheered and "...practically destroyed his body after the execution before Chinese security were able to hold them back..."A Hong Kong legend tells of the day "...when the Hiroshima bombings occured, [that] the entire populace of Hong Kong smiled and cheered...for the first time since Christmas day of 1941..."For more information regarding the Battle of Hong Kong, click on the corresponding "Related Link" below. For more information regarding accusations and the trial against Takashi Sakai, click on the corresponding "Related Link" below.

1) China: 1.2 billion Chinese live and work under Communist regime nation. 2) North Korea: 25 million Koreans live under a somewhat unique totalitarian state. it has a Juche ideology. All references to communism have been purged from its constitution, but it has elements of communism, fascism, and leader worship. North Korea's political system is very different from China and Cuba. 3) Hong Kong, Macau: China communist/capitalist experiment state. Taiwan, South Korea and Japan: Democratic and Capitalist Nations. Actually, to clarify, Macau and Hong Kong are Special Economic Zones that are controlled by communist Beijing, but are allowed free-markets. China (mainland) is communist ruled but feeds off of capitalist markets for wealth. North Korea is a total communist dictatorship. Taiwan is capitalist, democratic, has never been communist, and is a separate nation with its own elections, president and government system, though China threatens them militarily to join the mainland.
