The green stick that goes into a Starbucks cup is a reusable straw made from polypropylene, designed to be environmentally friendly. It is typically used for cold beverages, allowing customers to sip their drinks easily while minimizing the use of single-use plastic straws. Starbucks encourages the use of these straws as part of its sustainability initiatives.
Carbon-di-oxide is used in cold drinks and fizzy drinks to give it a bubbly nature. It also gives an artificial feeling of bloated or filled stomach after consuming these drinks.
Foam cups are commonly used for serving hot and cold beverages like coffee, tea, and soft drinks. They provide insulation to keep drinks hot or cold longer and are convenient for take-out orders or events where reusable cups are not ideal. However, they are not environmentally friendly as they are not easily recyclable or biodegradable.
The lemonade used by Starbucks is packaged exclusively for that purpose and not available for retail sale. The "brand" therefore does not exist. As a barista at Starbucks, the closest thing you will get to the Starbucks lemonade is Simply Lemonade. When we run out at our location that is what we use :)

Metalic cups keeps the water cold and it can be also used to keep the water hot .
Foam - styrofoam is an excellent insulator. With a hot drink - you want it to remain hot - so you do NOT want heat to move out of the drink to the cooler outside. The styrofoam vastly reduces this heat flow. With a cold drink, the reverse is true. You want it to remain cold so you do not want heat to move from your hand or the outside atmosphere into the drink. The styrofoam vastly reduces this heat flow.
styrofoam cups keep you beverages hot or cold because they are awesome
Starbucks simply used a bunch of ideas and called it their own. This is the same as any cafe would do. The Frappuccino, for example, was invented by one of their earlier baristas, however he never trademarked his idea.
Yes, there are cups made from edible materials like sugar or chocolate that can melt when alcohol is poured into them. These cups are typically used for special occasions and can add a fun and unique element to serving drinks.
varies.... my drink cost $3.64 USD with a 8.5% sales tax (high, i know.) its the smallest size they have and its an iced white choc mocha no whip. they have a few drinks cheaper and a few more. They have two sizes bigger for hot drinks and now 3 sizes bigger for cold drinks. They also have a kid sized drink that some locations will give out for hot drinks. So basically, anywhere from $1.50-$6.00. They charge you for everything you add.
