Unfortunately none, but cottage cheese is a great source of protein, about 14g per serving and makes for a good choice as a lowfat snack (the lowfat version). Sources high in protein make you feel full longer and stave off the munchies, much like high fiber foods. Both are important components in a healthy diet.

Because cottage cheese is mostly protein and protein helps you stay fuller longer. Also, cheese is mostly fat (not protein) and fat has 9 calories/gm where cottage cheese (protein) has 4 calories/gm. 1 ounce of cheese is approx 70-90 calories where 4 ounces of cottage cheese has the same amount of calories.
You shouldn't eat solid foods. Drink water and stick to a soft food diet like cottage cheese. It would also be beneficial to consult your doctor. Your doctor can provide you with all the information you need.
