In reality - no.

Cougars live on land, great whites in the oceans. And I'm not even sure if their ranges overlap.

Even if their ranges do overlap, the animals still wouldn't meet under normal circumstances.

You'd have to have some really odd freak event of a juvenile great white being washed ashore while there's a cougar patrolling the beach.
