coyotes are afraid of humans and are only comfortable around us if we feed them. SO NEVER FEED COYOTES!
First, you better find out if that's legal where you live. Some places do not allow any poison on private property because of kids and pets. Next you must find a place the coyotes frequent. There you place a specially prepared treat. I prefer rabbits but you can also use pastries, etc. Pierce a hole or gash into whatever you're using, then inject the poison within the item. If it is a animal it should be an organ. When the coyotes eat it, if the poison is strong enough, they should die.
Coyotes can see quite well at night.
The coyote is not an endangered animal. Coyotes can be found all over North America and coexist well with human beings. The expansion of the coyote can be traced to humans. The Mississippi River was a natural boundary to prevent the coyote's eastern movement, but as the river was bridged, the coyotes took advantage. Add to that illegal releases of coyotes for hunting purposes, and you have a situation that is hard to repair. Coyotes are intelligent, and highly adaptable. As for coexisting well, that is not true. Coyotes will kill pets, and even attack humans on rare occasions, especially children. They are not a native part of the eastern fauna, and in some areas have displaced native species like gray and red foxes. The red wolf has been restored to part of it's natural range in North Carolina, and they have had trouble with coyotes breeding with wolves that had no mates. That problem, however, is being curtailed by the Wildlife Commission. Red wolf packs will kill coyotes, but it's the lone wolf without a partner that will mate with them, producing hybrid pups, and ruining the integrity of the nominate species. Most eastern states now support taking of coyotes year round, but this highly intelligent species is probably here to stay.
Depending on where the coyote lives: Bears, wolves, and/or humans.Woles and coyotes are not friends at all.
Not usually, they are mostly carnivorous, but they will if they find it. But if your thinking of feeding them DO NOT! Coyotes can become aggressive and will kill pets.
Dogs make good pets because they are loyal and if you live in the desert like me they will protect you from coyotes and rattlesnakes no matter what. My neighbor has a dog and it saved her life from a pack of coyotes.
Wolves and Coyotes, but I wouldn't recommend getting them as pets.
I would not suggest feeding the coyote poisoinous things, wood, metal, or lions. Coyotes will eat any animal it can over power. Small pets and children should be supervised when in an area coyotes are known to be in the afternoon.
i thought i read somewhere that he had a pack of coyotes to keep him company
coyotes eat badgers
BECAUSE THEY ARE MEAN, HORRIBLE CREATURES. THEY KILL PEOPLES PETS, THEIR LIVESTOCK AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY CAN CARRY RABIES AND ATTACK CHILDREN. UNLESS IN A WILD ANIMAL SANCTUARY.... COYOTES SHOULD ALL BE KILLED. I'M NOT TRYING TO SOUND MEAN BUT I LIVE OFF THE ROAD AND I HAVE DOGS, KIDS AND LIVESTOCK AND THE COYOTES SURROUND OUR HOME EVERY NIGHT AND FRIGHTEN US ALL.
Example possessive phrases for the plural noun 'coyotes' are:the coyotes' packthe coyotes' pupsthe coyotes' preythe coyotes' habitat
No, there are no coyotes in Riyadh.
More coyotes.
Well here in New Mexico, where I live, there are coyotes, foxes, squirrels, rarely mountain lions, birds, and then peoples pets.
Coyotes raid the goose nests, taking as many as 20 eggs from a group of nest in a single evening. They then dig caches, or hiding spots, nearby to store the eggs. Coyotes return later to eat the eggs, sometimes as many as three weeks after they were cached. As deer populations grow in the Chicago region, coyotes have been taking advantage of deer fawns as a food source. Coyotes almost always hunt alone or in pairs, and cannot kill a healthy adult deer. Although coyotes will feed upon the remains of deer, adult deer are usually not killed by coyotes unless injured. Coyotes, like other wildlife, also take advantage of food that people leave out, such as messy garbage cans, bird seed and even cat and dog food left out for pets. Coyotes will also eat feral and free‐roaming cats. The only way to keep your cat safe from coyotes is to keep it indoors.
