"Is there crayfish in the Guadalupe river? I live in New Braunfels, TX and I will tell you that there are millions of crawfish in this river. The provide a nutrient rich diet for the many species of fish the feed along the banks and tree roots. If you live on the river, you may notice that during heavy rains the crawfish will actually make there way into your back yard. I'm not sure why they do this but they do. I caught about 150 large crawfish in about ten minutes this morning right out of the lawn. Crawfish boil time!

Crawfish have a nickname. Which is, the mud bug. They live in muddy water. Possibly swamps. Lobster are ALWAYS bigger. Crawfish have less meat on them. But they tend to be put in spicy spices when doing a crawfish boil or party.
The Crawfish is an invertebrates.
