There are aids avalible to improve hearing but You cannot Become "Compleatly hearing" Hearing aids and Choclear implants have been improved and Helps many children and adults cope with their hearing loss. Over a Long period of time Hopefully there will be a cure. but there isn't always a disadvantage in being deaf. I am a deaf person I have only 40% of my hearing left I am 15 years old And I Blend Well with the hearing community. DOnt let it bring you down
