you really can't
There would be no logical reason to assume so _________________________ No. There are over-the-counter oral anesthetics such as "Ora-Jel" or "Numzit" than can alleviate the short-term pain of a toothache, but the toothache will not go away until treated by a dentist. Sorry about that!
Gargle with some salt water. I know it seems too easy to work, but it really does!
Diclofenac is not addictive at all. People often take it for years for arthritis or other inflammatory conditions. The problem with it is that it can upset your stomach with prolonged use, and it can cause stomach ulcers eventually. I take it for arthritis when required but my doctor gave me omeprozole to take with it because that helps to protect the stomach and stop stomach ulcers.
Bupropion is a pill that can apparently make you feel better and can help you to stop smoking. I don't know if it's true, or if the uses are phycological. ~Sozzygirl

It usually only takes 8 to 10 hours for your tooth to stop hurting after you have a cavity filled. You can take an over-the-counter pain medication to help ease the pain.
I have a toothache myself and have been using v- lidocaine. It seems to work when it is rubbed in or left on the affected tooth for at least 5 min. I wouldn't suggest swallowing it, it feels weird having a numb throat and mouth at the same time. You may also try swishing it around, and from what i have read it is fairly safe if swallowed. good luck.
providing your cardiologist says it's ok to stop taking it for 7 days prior to getting the tattoo.. no problem. but you must tell the tattooist who willl need to make sure he has more ink available as more may bleed out, also he may need to bandage it for 12 hours instead of wrapping it, I will need to get air to heal faster and you will need to cream it regularly. I've been on 75mg Plavix for 3 years and have had 5 tats in that time, go for black or deep red with little or no shading for best results.
First, severe toothache requires a trip to the dentist. But, if you can't get to the dentist immediately, I have found that 800 mg of ibuprofen will stop the pain. For topical relief a product like Anbesol gives some temporary relief by numbing the area a bit.
I found something that works. Some one wrote that their grandmother said to take an aspirin and let it slowly melt next to the tooth; Allowing the medicine to come directly in contact with the infected tooth and gum, which kills the bacteria and helps to take the pain away. It works!
It will eventually, once your body gets over the withdrawal. No matter how small the dose, your body was used to it for a long time. Dizziness is a common symptom of withdrawal from a serotonin reuptake inhibitor.
