Yes a dog can eat a hen. If you mean that you have live hens & want to know if it is possible that your dog would eat them, then yes. If you want to know if it is safe to feed a cooked hen to a dog, then yes. A hen is a female chicken, so it's not much different than feeding it dog food made from chicken. If you do have live hens, though, it is best that you keep them away from the dog for their safety & well-being. If your dog has already eaten one of your hens, then it should be okay, unless the hen was diseased. If so, the dog needs a vet ASAP. However, if the dog continues to eat the live hens, it can end up contracting salminella or some other kind of bacterial illness which derives from poultry.
The coop is to the hen what the kennel is to the dog.

In traditional cuisine, both rooster and hen are commonly eaten.
The main characters in "The Little Red Hen" are the Little Red Hen, who does all the work of planting, harvesting, and baking bread; the lazy animals (usually a dog, cat, and duck) who won't help her; and sometimes a wise farmer who gives the Little Red Hen advice.
The Purple Swamp Hen eats worms and small insects. In captivity, they will eat grains such as corn, wheat, and soybean meal.
I'm assuming that this is a hen in an outside coop? In that case, the hen has probably been grabbed by a fox or dog.......it would bite down on the hen, piercing her back with its eyetooth or fang.
we eat the rooster because the hen might have eggs
1- take the hen over to the other-side. 2- get the fox and take it over to where the hen is but take the hen back with you. 3- take the corn over to the fox. 4-then take the hen over and they will all be on the other-side of the river. hope this helps from i-luv-my-chickens
