No. you should never get a wolf or any type of wolf hybrid and use it as a guard dog.
wolfs are not like dogs, and they do not have the same loyalty that dogs do that have came from thousands of years of living next to man. it will most likely kill that person and in the future it could even turn on you...
NO wolves make HORRIBLE guards! They are so timid that they will run under the bed if you are being robbed or getting beat up.

These dogs are a wolf hybrid. They can be very dangerous or loving like wolves. They are a newer breed so before buying one you should ask a veterinarian.
A wolf hybrid dog can live 12-14 years in good health.
A wolf-dog hybrid (also called a wolf hybrid or wolfdog) is a canid hybrid resulting from the mating of wolf (Canis lupus) and a dog (Canis familiaris). The term "wolfdog" is preferred by most wolfdog proponents and breeders since the domestic dog was recently taxonomically recategorized as a subspecies of wolf.In first generation hybrids, gray wolves are most often crossed with wolf-like dogs (such as German Shepherd Dogs, Siberian Huskies, and Alaskan Malamutes) for an appearance most appealing to owners desiring to own an exotic pet. Since wolf hybrids are genetic mixtures of wolves and dogs, their physical and behavioral characteristics cannot be predicted with any certainty.
The Wolf hybrid is the one that is 60% wolf!
yes, they make great guard dogs, they were originally used to hunting down wolves. they are strong enough to hold down a full grown male timber wolf with its mouth.
Any dog or wolf hybrid will attack their owner if they are mistreated or weren't socialised properly as pups. Optimal windows for socialisation are different in wolves than in dogs though, and depending on the percentage of wolf the hybrid is, it could behave in ways with their owners that are undog-like.

Wolves are not dogs, have not traditionally been bred to have a purpose in society and have genetically retained their "wild" instincts. If raised from birth, a wolf can be a good pet, but must have a large area which it can consider it's territory. Because it is wild, extra attention must be given to its training and diet. Wolves have a "pack" mentality which can make it extremely loyal to the right owner or owners ( you do not need to own 5 or 6 ). Treating a Wolf as you would a dog could be a fatal mistake!
Yes their is such dogs as wolf dogs. A wolf dog is a mix of a wolf and a dog
