Dogs shouldn't eat any human foods that are sugary. They type of batter differs the severity. Dogs - along with any other animals - should never eat chocolate because it is toxic to them. If dogs eat something else that is sugary but not chocolate, it mostly depends on the dog. My dog once accidentally ate a whole piece of chocolate cake on accident, and nothing happened. But with some dogs, even the tiniest bit of chocolate or sugar can make them become sick for a short or long time. But don't risk it. Some dogs can die because of human food. Many dogs will want to eat human food, especially chocolate because of it's sweet smell. Don't let them trick you into giving them sugary substances.
