If your dog doesn't like prey animals or other small animals like rabbits, birds, or cats. Than there is a possibillity that it will try to bite your hamster. I wouldn't recommend trying to test that theory though.

∙ 14y agoWell, there are many reasons why. If their an abused animal, then of course they are going to eat anything. If they feel the hamster is loved more then them, they will eat it, just to get rid of it.
Other people say ifs because dogs are dumb, but if their smart enough to realize theres a chance they will be un-loved. I find that pretty darn smart for an animal.
