Yes, a dog can. A dog can carry almost any illness or sickness a human can carry. I have found several cases were one of my patients was carrying a stomach virus.

just like humans they have feelings and can catch an illness so watch for that.If your dog is sick and is still young you should take it to the vet immediately.
