I doubt it. Just keep on eye on your dog and make sure he or she is eating normally and having bowel movements on a regular basis. If you see anything that you think is a problem then take your pet in to see your Veterinarian. I think it is mostly likely the lip balm will pass on through your dog's system but you never know. So at the first hint of a problem, take to see your Vet.

∙ 12y agoLip balm is a combination of wax and oil, so unless the lip balm was chocolate flavored, there is no urgent danger to your dog's health; chocolate which humans eat (as opposed to specific "doggie chocolate") is toxic to dogs; the toxin appears in the cocoa mass (the brown bit) rather than the cocoa butter, so a lip balm containing cocoa butter is still non-toxic to dogs.
However if a vast quantity of any (non chocolate flavored) lip balm is eaten by the dog, they may vomit afterwards, but it should not cause any longer term problems.
Might be best to see a vet if the dog has eaten chocolate flavored lip-balm.
