if it is dry, then there is nothing to freeze. With no moisture there will be nothing to mold or grow spores. If you are trying to keep if fresh you will just need to keep the air out of it so it will not go stale.
To answer your question, you can throw it in the freezer, however, all it will do is get the air cold... nothing would actually freeze
