Yes, some like the water. If you are giving them a bath, make sure the water is luke-warm (they might go into shock from being in cold water). Towel dry and keep them out of a draft. Sometimes guinea pigs will get themselves wet from their water bottle and you don't have to interfere with that. You should never make the guinea pig "swim". It's not swimming, it's trying to get out because it is drowning.
Like all mammals, when guinea pigs are born they are covered in placenta. They will be wet and slimy to touch.
yes most of them fuss but then need so many bathes a week i have had 6 at one time and they were getting dirty so the doctor/vet told me to wash every two days
They can get wet, but their habitat needs to be kept dry. A damp environment can cause them to become ill.
not all guinea pigs can swim because my guinea pig can not.
when your guinea pig has a sign of thinning fur or bald patches or a wet nostrils.
yes it can unless its not a lot of water
Well, you cant prevent a still born guinea pig. But you can try to revive the guinea pig once it is born.
If your guinea pig has problems with his skin, they should probably go to the vet. Be sure and give your guinea pigs baths, but don't get their ears and face wet. Hope this helps! :)
Use a wet flannel, slightly dampened, and lay over the guinea pig's back.
yes but only in the summer as if the guinea pig gets too cold i the winter it will die and by the way you will need a huch not a cage as a cage will get too much wind as it has no private bit or shelter and your guinea pig will get wet !
The gestation period of a guinea pig is 68-72 days after fertilization.
