No. Only biological parents are responsible for the financial support of their minor children.

Please keep in mind, even though a non-obligatory spouse cannot be held directly responsible for child support obligations, in most instances joint bank accounts can be levied or joint property can be encumbered by a lien if there are support arrearages.

That being the case, the non-obligatory spouse would likely be affected by such a judgment.
