Yes it is illegal to shoot off fireworks in the Tulsa City Limits. If you live in Broken Arrow, Bixby or Sand Springs you can purchase a permit and shoot them off on certain days. You can also drive outside of Tulsa City limits like some families do and shoot off fireworks. If you need to purchase fireworks, Celebration Day Fireworks at 81st and Main in Broken Arrow is a good place with really good prices.
